Benifest is a non-profit organization and concert series founded by Drexel University graduate and Villanova University Law School student, Mason Payonk. With the assistance of friends Jeremy Incelli and Tarun Kanakamadela, Benifest sets out to educate people about needy causes that may normally be overlooked by bringing people together through music.
Mason, a musician himself, has booked and performed at many of the renowned Philadelphia venues such as the Theatre of Living Arts, The Fillmore, and The Barbary with artists from Interscope and Columbia Records. As he continued to network and build relationships, Mason set his sights on putting the connections he made performing to good use. On May 20, 2017, Benifest will hold its inaugural event in Philadelphia, PA at William Street Common featuring seven local acts with every penny of profit being donated to The Tim Langan Brain Anuerysm Foundation. Visit www.TLBAF.com to learn more about the cause.
Benifest believes that music is one of life's greatest assets and should be used to promote and shed light on the welfare of those in need. Each Benifest has one goal: to enjoy the music, enjoy the evening and enjoy each other, all while bringing awareness to a worthy cause.
